What about me - Find time to exercise

I just had the morning with a friend who is the typical mother, who does everything for everybody else and never for herself... until recently.  Not happy within herself she talked to her husband and he agreed with her that she would go and do a personal training intensive program. She decided to do this 6am in the morning, and OMG you should see the before and after photos - but more importantly you should feel the difference in how she feels about herself.  (this was just before Christmas)

Now that it is after Christmas, she again has slipped into the trap of thinking of everyone else bar herself, as her husband wants to go the gym in the morning too.  But after some discussion, they decided to do it day apart.  She said, like many others I have heard say the same - that hour is all hers, and doing the exercise she has more energy, is more positive and can cope with the many challenges three kids under the age of 5 brings her way.

I am going to take a leaf out of her book. Not to exercise as heavily as she does, but to every second day power walk for 40 mins 5.30 /6ish to make myself feel better, and have more energy for the day.
