I love the way young kids always love drawing.  Recently I asked my son to do me some drawings that I could use as draw liners - he had fun producing them for me and then smiles frequently when he sees his favourites when he opens his bathroom draw. 

I have three sets of pens/crayons etc and paper - so when friends come around they too can have some fun.  And there is no fighting over who has what.  I just love how it quitens them down for a while (a little while anyway).

Playdough is another favourite - here is the recipe for you to make your own (which is just as entertaining to make, as it is to use)

• 4 cups of plain flour
• 8 tabs of cream of tartar
• 4 tabs of cooking oil
• 2 cups of salt
• food colouring
• enough hot water to mix

Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl and add hot water.

Mix well and knead a few times to form a firm dough.
